BUS TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT

Knope 2012 24-Hour Bus Tour!

Campaign Bus

All aboard the Knope 2012 train! The 24-Hour Bus Tour begins tomorrow! And the train on this bus stops for EVERYBODY! Just to be clear: there is only a bus; the train was just a metaphor for our campaign.

As the rubber meets the road of this campaign, the actual rubber (of our bus) will be meeting the roads (of Pawnee) and we want to see you there! We will be stopping by all of Pawnee's greatest sites*: Harvey Park, all three fountains (even the one with the birds), Lot 48, and many more! *NO LIBRARIES.

The end of this tour marks the end of this long and hard fought election, so we are leaving it all out on the trails. That means there will be dancing, there will be free T-shirts, and even a few funny impressions! If you see us, go ahead and wave, if you hear us, go ahead and shout, and if you see and hear us, you choose. Also, a friendly reminder: you can't actually ride on the bus with us.

Official Statement from the Knope 2012 Campaign

Nick NewportNick Newport

I am sure you have all heard of the tragic and untimely passing of Nick Newport, at the age of 98. He was an important man to our city. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Newport family as they grieve. Sometimes in life there are more important things than a campaign, and this is a sobering reminder of one of those times. A vote for Leslie Knope is a vote for classy campaigning. Vote Knope.
