We Need More Trash Cans

We all know how it happened. In the 1940s, everywhere you went you saw a trash can. Pawnee was consistently one of the cleanest cities in America. And then the Trash Can Draft of 1950 put an end to that.

Trash Cans

Pawnee's trash cans were "drafted" to fight the war against littering in neighboring Eagleton. This had the double-whammy effect of making our city dirtier, and theirs even cleaner. Rumor has it, they used our trash cans as "liner cans" - putting them inside their larger, cleaner trash cans in order to prevent their cans from getting dirty.

Seventy years later, I say no more! Vote for me, and you'll see the trash cans come back. And I will be sure to empty them of their disgusting Eagleton garbage before!
